Great Man Theory Breakout from clichéd venues

Harley Davidson released a new bike in the UK this month – the Softail FXSB New Breakout. We were asked to provide a live band and PA for the launch at Newcastle Harley-Davidson in Silverlink.

Local rockers Great Man Theory stepped up to the plate, and provided the perfect backing for such a sturdy bike.

The Giggle Beats Comedy Quiz

Clear And Loud are proud to be involved with the live sound and podcast recording of the all-new monthly Giggle Beats Comedy Quiz.

The ‘pub quiz with a difference’ will be held on the first Monday of every month, starting on 6th May.

Giggle Beats say “We promise a pub quiz that’s funnier, sillier and more rewarding than any other; a totally unique, interactive comedy experience.

There will be topical questions, themed rounds, a music round with a difference and more – plus a special caption competition, with the winner receiving a batch of comedy DVDs from independent comedy distributor Go Faster Stripe.

The quiz will also feature a short stand-up spot for local comics while we count up the scores. Our first guest on Monday 6 May is So You Think You’re Funny finalist Jonathan Pelham.”

The cover charge is £2 per entry (maximum team size of 6 people), but a discount is available via the advanced payment link on WeGotTickets.

We are also now able to record any live gig (current maximum of 8 channels), at a small extra cost. Please see our Services tab for details.

January Cultural Jukebox @ The Baltic

If you follow us on Twitter you will know that we helped book bands and ran all the sound tech for the Fresh Elements Cultural Jukebox gig at The Baltic in January.

KMC Productions and Matthew Harrop were there to film the show and the result has now been posted on YouTube.

Check it out for a little taste of the atmosphere ahead of the next Cultural Jukebox in May.
